Men's Saucony Peregrine ISO: The Facts
Top Reasons to Buy the Men's Saucony Peregrine ISO
Saucony's award-winning line of Peregrine trail running shoes has captured the hearts of off-road enthusiasts for quite some time, but the new men's Peregrine ISO is truly a cut above the rest. Saucony's latest ISOFIT technology adapts to your foot's every move while navigating across tricky terrain.
This shoe is a Level 3 cushioned running shoe, meaning it hits the sweet spot between protective cushioning and responsive ground connection. You'll enjoy softened landings and a zesty spring in your step thanks to awesome energy return.
The Peregrine ISO has a low 4mm heel-toe drop. Because the height of your heel isn't much offset from the height of your toe, your entire foot stays closely connected to the ground. Full contact gives you explosive power throughout your gait cycle and lends a barefoot sensation that nature enthusiasts love oh-so much
What People Are Saying About the Men's Saucony Peregrine ISO
A true trail running legend, the newly updated Peregrine ISO is receiving tons of attention. The shoe was great before, but fans say that the revolutionary ISOFIT system morphs to your feet in such a way that it feels custom-made.
Neutral runners love how this shoe lets their body just do its thing. The 4mm offset delivers a more natural ride, and allows the feet to work more and rely less on the Peregrine ISO's cushioning and stability features.
The traction served up by these shoes is no joke! We're told that a super toothy outsole bites the ground impressively, rendering steep, loose terrain and slick, muddy trails unworthy opponents of the Peregrine ISO.
Men's Saucony Peregrine ISO Updates
The true selling point of the updated men's Peregrine ISO is Saucony's form-fitting technology. ISOFIT reduces pressure points in the upper by pretty much eliminating the bunching or creasing that occurs from a change in foot shape during the gait cycle. Goodbye blisters, goodbye irritation–hello to miles and miles of raw fun!
Size and Fit of the Men's Saucony Peregrine ISO
General Size and Fit
As a neutral shoe, the men's Peregrine ISO fits best on male runners who have medium to high arches and don't need much stability support. It's available in two different width sizes, but when you select your length, consider going up one-half size from your true foot size. You need adequate toe splay if you want balance when bouncing across boulders!
The upper of the men's Saucony Peregrine ISO uses wings that move independently and wrap around the foot once the laces are tightened. The material is breathable and allows for plenty of ventilation, so even on your hottest days out on the trail, your feet can stay cool and dry.
Soft, but not too soft, is how you can describe the midsole of the Peregrine ISO. The topsole consists of Saucony's popular EVERUN material that resists breakdown in temperature extremes. Beneath that is that PWRFOAM cushioning that delivers a super smooth ride and added rebound. You'll be able to connect with the ground without feeling like you're slamming into it.
With the PWRTRAC outsole on these trail running shoes, you'll score next level grip across all types of terrain. These lugs aggressively bite the ground to prevent you from slipping and sliding across slippery, uneven surfaces.
